What is Infini-D Learning?

Infini-D Learning offers a jam-packed library of wildly engaging and rigorous missions that rocket your students into outer space, miniaturize them for a tour of the human body, or time-travel them into history's pivotal moments.

Our mission (should you choose to accept it) is to make it a breeze for you to guide any group through high-stakes, do-or-die scenarios that demand real-world problem-solving and teamwork—without the old-school educational fluff.

ALBERT EINSTEIN:

“Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think.”

"Integrating Infini-D Learning into our PYP curriculum was transformative. The missions are engaging and seamlessly connect to our Units of Inquiry, further amplifying the IB learning experience."

"Infini-D Learning's STEM missions have become an invaluable asset to our MYP program. They cultivate the kind of critical thinking and interdisciplinary skills that are central to the IB ethos."

"From the top-down, our entire IB community is abuzz about Infini-D Learning. The platform aligns beautifully with our commitment to holistic education and real-world problem-solving."

A PERFECT SYNERGY

Infini-D Learning & The International Baccalaureate (IB) PYP/MYP

At Infini-D Learning, we're not just on board with the IB's vision for global citizenship and holistic learning; we're all in. Our missions are like the ultimate academic playground, where the IB's PYP and MYP elements come alive in technicolor. We're turning the IB learner profile into the co-pilot of our next-level STEM voyages.

Inquiry-Based Approach

Each mission is an investigative journey. Drawing parallels with the PYP's inquiry-led framework, students are encouraged to explore, wonder, question, and extrapolate, turning the virtual cosmos into their interactive classroom.

Transdisciplinary Themes

Our STEM missions are not isolated learning experiences. They incorporate various disciplines, mirroring the PYP’s six transdisciplinary themes, ensuring a holistic understanding and approach to problem-solving.

Learner Profile Attributes

Infini-D's immersive scenarios promote attributes like being inquirers, thinkers, communicators, and risk-takers. As students navigate challenges, they inherently cultivate the ten IB Learner Profile traits.

Concept-Driven Learning

Beyond mere facts, our missions revolve around big ideas and central concepts. Whether it's understanding change through a shifting galactic environment or causation through the domino effect of decisions in history.

WE TAKE "OUT OF THIS WORLD" VERY SERIOUSLY

How Infini-D Makes the IB Learner Profile Look Good—Real Good

Inquirers

Welcome to the Infini-D School of Persistent Pestering! Here, our students aren’t just inquirers; they're relentless question-askers, problem-probers, and why-not-wonderers.

Each mission is like a masterclass in curiosity. No scripts, no hand-holding, and definitely no snoozefests. Your class is in the driver’s seat—buckle up! They'll sift through a kaleidoscope of data, separating the gems from the junk, and calling the shots on how this epic tale unfolds. Forget about 'staying in your lane'; we're forging new ones, one question at a time.

Knowledgeable

Our Infini-D students aren't just collecting facts; they're mastering the universe, one mission at a time. Whether it's fending off cosmic threats or dissecting interstellar ecosystems, they're applying knowledge that's out of this world.

These missions are far from random; each is rigorously aligned with NGSS and state standards. Instead of dry quizzes, we embed questions right in the heat of the action. And yes, you can customize them to fit your curriculum like a glove. Why settle for earthly standards when you can aim for the cosmos?

Thinkers

Got a soft spot for unsolvable conundrums? Perfect. Infini-D isn't your grandmother's textbook problem set. We're in the business of mind-bending quandaries that would make Sherlock Holmes double-check his deductions.

Oh, and we aren't keen on hand-holding. Students are faced with decisions that come in shades of gray, not black and white. Mess up? Consider it a learning experience—with a built-in time machine for round two.

Communicators

Forget mumbling through group projects; Infini-D missions demand you actually talk to each other. We're talking eloquent banter, people!

Picture this: students move out of their seats in order to request information or complete a task with a specific classmate, and objectives that make lone wolves join the pack. Here, communication isn't just key—it's the whole darn lock and door.

Principled

Infini-D makes ethics cool again, embedding integrity and respect into the DNA of every mission.

You're not just saving planets or species; you're defining what 'good' really means. With clear objectives and success criteria, we help your students design solutions that even Captain Planet would high-five.

Open-minded

Echo chambers are so last century. Infini-D missions challenge students to be the sort of visionaries who can handle a little perspective.

Multiple solutions? Yep, we're that kind of open. Debate, deliberate, and dazzle us with your best ideas to find the most primo outcome for each mission.

Caring

It's not all laser beams and wormholes; we're in the business of building better humans, too. Compassion isn't an extra credit assignment here; it's built right into the syllabus.

Mission Control doesn't just coordinate tasks; it cues up humanity's finest hits. High fives, compliments, and the occasional dad joke? They're all in the playbook to make sure your 'class' feels more like a 'squad.

Risk-takers

Risk-takers: Who said 'play it safe'? Here, caution's thrown to a black hole as students step up, speak out, and tackle challenges that'd make a seasoned astronaut pause.

Forget wallflowers; we're all about leaders-in-the-making. Assigned roles aren't just seat fillers; they're your cue to command, contribute, and turn what-ifs into what's-nexts.

Balanced

Life's not a one-note symphony, and neither are our missions. Students juggle intellectual rigor with emotional IQ, blending book smarts with street smarts, all while keeping an eye on the well-being of their crew. No one said saving the galaxy would be a cakewalk.

Here's the kicker: you're not just diving into the specifics of, say, molecular biology. You're marrying it with critical skills like decision-making and communication. It's like life prep with a side of intergalactic heroics.

Reflective

Think of our missions as the ultimate feedback loop—successes and fumbles are all part of the game. Students step back, recalibrate, and shoot for the stars again, learning how to navigate not just the complexities of the mission, but the nuances of their own strengths and weaknesses.

So you didn't nail it the first time? No sweat. A do-over isn't just allowed; it's encouraged. Students can revisit the mission, tweaking their approach until they're not just hitting the mark but absolutely crushing it
